My name is Melody and I am the Founder of WWW.FRNTROW.COM It’s a blog that features my personal style, as well as what’s trending in fashion.
How did you start your business?
I’ve always wanted to have a blog but it took me a minute to finally go for it. And when I did, I got online did researched and went for it. I enjoy conceptualizing ideas; so I thought to myself why not share them.
What is your business about?
My business revolves around fashion. I post items that I dream to see in my closet, I create trend boards, as well as showing my style.
What are the things you like the most about your career?
Everything, everyday is a new experience and it really tests my dedication. You must commit, so I do because I know that the pay off can be priceless. Like that saying, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
What are your top sources of inspiration?
My top sources for inspiration are street style from London, Milan, Paris, as well as runway shows, and editorials.
What is a typical day like?
I wakeup meditate, (if I don’t have to style a shoot and be onset) I am on my computer emailing, updating my blog, and reaching out trying to make new contacts. I also research trends, events, and look for possible styling gigs. Working freelance you have to be on top of booking your next job, the hustle is real.
What are some of your greatest accomplishments?
Taking that step to go on my own, and be my own boss. We will see where this journey takes me.
